Skin Cancer Checks

These checks involve a careful, head-to-toe assessment of your skin, often using a dermatoscope (a skin surface microscope) to closely examine any moles or lesions of cancer

We offer advanced full body skin mapping using the IntelliStudio® imaging system and Dermagraphix® software from Canfield, the leading technology in skin surveillance
This system captures high-resolution, standardised photographs of your entire skin surface, allowing us to:
- Establish a detailed visual baseline of your skin
- Accurately monitor existing moles over time
- Detect any new or changing lesions early
We also use close-up dermoscopic photography for individual spots of concern, enabling us to monitor specific areas more precisely
This service is especially helpful for patients with:
- Numerous or atypical moles
- Personal or family history of melanoma
- Increased risk due to sun exposure or fair skin
All images are stored securely and reviewed at future appointments, giving us a clear and objective way to track changes in your skin health over time.
